Guest guest
Joan, The most frustrating thing about all of this is that it happened last summer too...every *freakin* day! I do not want a repeat of this this summer with the baby coming and all. Yes, she is a little nervous about the baby coming but this pants wetting thing is not related...she does other things that reflects her anxiety about that. I know this too shall pass...thats one of my favorite mottos! LOL She can change herself but after she has wet, she is to get directly into the tub and she is not allowed to go back out for the rest of the day. I have just been making myself responsible for making her come in. We have had 3 dry days in a row! YAY! When she is ounished by having to come in for the rest of the day, it punishes me too...we have a neighborhood where all the moms come out and watch the kids and we all talk and when katie is inside, i cannot come out...she will whine and stand at the window talking to her friends...and no she doesn't tell them why she can't come out....peer pressure i guess. ---Debbie <<<Debbie, two of my sons used to do this also. Believe me, as someone else on the list has said (I forget who... sorry) it does pass. Can she change herself? If she can, just let her come in and change herself, putting her soiled clothes in a plastic bag (or a diaper pail if you have one). They do grow out of this - you'll look back one day and it'll seem like nothing .
