Guest guest
I like the swimming pool and I went to Pool PT for my RA years ago and it was good, we have a swimming pool but here in the midwest you cant use it year round as its outdoors, so I only get to use it in the summer. Although I did notice that the local YMCA was advertising so I might join that so I can do somethings on my own and then take my grandson to swimming lessons etc. But I do agree I like the pool therapy it is so much easier on my RA. I get lots of muscle strength that isnt my issue he even said that, at my part time job I am a cook been there 19 years, our freezers and storage is down 2 flights of stairs and no elevator so everything must be carried up, so I carry 70 pounds up at a time just uft it up to my shoulders and away we go. its the not being able to breath at the top of the stairs that gets me! But you know I am out of shape I guess. Gee whiz.... Arghh Ok I will calm down must be calm.... Guest guest
I agree Bruce and that's when we push through. Hey, did you see Rosebud? Mama-Sher, ild 3-06, OR.Don't fret about tomorrow, God is already there! Re: Sandie - Exercise IS GOOD too! Even when they don't say it, I'm sure they make you feel it. I often was made to feel like everything I felt was just a normal part of aging, and some was, but I know when some things just aren't right.> > >> > > > > > Even though it's a Red Herring ..he's right in that Exercise is the > > one> > > thing you can gift yourself with to feel better regardless of what > > IS> > > wrong!> > > > > > I'm so much stronger & my breathing has improved since I did my> > > Pulmonary Rehab - I especially find my walking in the heated pool> > > modified swimming incredible helpful.
