I agree.

Just out of curiosity, have you ever tried whipping up the whites and

adding them in to make it an egg nog frozen mousse-type object?

And if so, what was your impression? Also good, not as good, etc.?

Of course not.

They do sound yummy, however.

Speaking of recipes, do you have your red lentil meat chili

recipe - I think I might try red lentils soon - and I'm just

wondering if there is anything I need to know about

the ways in which lentils are different than kidney beans -

the way I used to make them.

BTW, do legumes like lentils and beans contain much

fructose? Anyone know how to find out?

TIA,

Mara

It's good, a little lighter, but I don't do it when serving it to

Outsiders. They get nervous over the raw egg whites, even though I use

pastured eggs. (I haven't been able to find pasteurized eggs that aren't

WAY over my budget.)

Is this the stove top one with ground beef, or the crock-pot one with

stew meat? The former uses whole lentils, the latter uses split red

lentils.

I know that, relatively speaking, they are high in carbohydrates. I have

never gone looking to see what the breakdown of it is.was.
