Guest guest
I was buying Dannon yogurt at Walmart. I always bought the full fat version because it was tastier and not as gelatinized. I just found out that all Walmart sells now is the non-fat version and it has pectin in it. And pectin makes me ill and it's an illegal. I have no clue what to use as my starter now. Any ideas? Thanks, Susie Beginner SCD

Guest guest
Yeah, that one works, but it doesn;'t have acidophilus in it. Just the regular yogurt strains. Guest guest
I didn't think the Fage Total Greek yogurt worked for me but I wasn't eating enough. Since it didn't affect me like Dannon's or yogourmet starter (only 1-2T at a time) I thought something was wrong. I used it like sour cream and it works fine if I eat more. On the Dannon's, I didn't use it last time because something on the label has changed, it said something vague about which probiotic strains were in it but since I didn't buy it, I can't remember. The regular fat doesn't have pectin but is harder to find where I live.
