Guest guest
Lorraine,I think some people dry them in a dehydrator. I love the ones in oil and make them about thress times a year. LOLHello, What is the secret to getting the squash fries to get crisp, without them burning? I bake/broil them in the oven. They are either mushy or burnt. I do not want to cook them in oil. Guest guest
I cut my squash int0 1/4'' matchsticks, toss them with olive oil and salt & pepper, and bake them at 425 for @ 40 min, turning half way through. One important thing is you can't crowd them on the cookie sheet or they will steam, which makes them soft. Make sure there is empty space around each frie. kathleen uc-4/98, scd-8/03 _________________________________________________________________ Share life as it happens with the new Windows Live. http://www.windowslive.com/share.html?ocid=TXT_TAGHM_Wave2_sharelife_012008
