Guest guest
histamine/histadine containing foods? Here's a list of many, but not all: yogurt, cheese anything fermented food leftovers, especially meats eggplant, pumpkin, spinach, tomato Apricot, Cherry, Cranberry, Currant Date, Loganberry, Nectarine Orange, Papaya (pawpaw), Peach Pineapple, Prunes, Plums, Raisins Raspberries, Strawberries Fish and shellfish Anise, Cinnamon, Cloves, Hot paprika, Nutmeg Cider, wine (legal ones of course) Or, have you noticed any improvement if you have taken an antihistamine? I ask this because I have OCD and have recently discovered that in my case it is is probably due to high histamine levels. I was curious what role that may play in my bowel health, so went researching and found some references to histamines and UC. I have never been diagnosed with colitis or UC, but was curious what other's experiences had been. I have noticed I tend to react to several things on that list. Curious. Thanks!
