Guest guest Posted April 9, 2008 Report Share Posted April 9, 2008 I am not sure what I should be doing in advance of making yogurt in my plastic Yogourmet inner compartment. I have been soaking the metal cooking pot, the thermometer stem, the metallic part of the stirring spoon, and the metal sieve we use to strain the heated milk, all in boiling water. But I have no idea how to sterilize the plastic Yogourmet inner container. I'd appreciate input from other people who use this machine. I hope to order some glass jars for this machine, but for the duration of my use of the plastic container, I want to be sure that the container is sterile before I add the sterilized milk and the starter.
