Guest guest
Hey Marilyn, My husband and I have been on a Japanese kick for a few years now. We took a sushi making class and also a bento box class (and many sake tastings!) Both of us are on the diet (he is not a fanatic like me) I would love to learn how to adapt Japanese recipes and ideas to SCD. I adore Sashimi, but I also know many times there is sugar in the marinating solution for certain fish. I wouldn't want to make sashmi myself but I could give it a light sear and maybe figure out a way to make pickled ginger? I used to eat Sushi quite often and many Japanese meals and the level of detail and understanding about food is amazing to me. They have sushi like rolls made out of fish and the seaweed wrap exterior is made out of thin sheets of cucumber. It would be fun to eventually do this kind of stuff. Jodi SCD 6 months Crohn's/Colitis > <grin> I ought to go back through old emails. I > can't remember Asian food as a part of what > Elaine talked about.
