Guest guest
There is no usually. Go back to the intro and stay with early intro foods until you feel a difference. Could be aweek or a month or more. I'd suggest from recent experience you might wantto check out going very low carb to see if that works for you. It's helping me with a 7 month flare now. In my experience, the bacteria that emerge to causethe 3 month flare are harder to kill off than the easy ones that die in the beginning of the diet. Good luck. Mara S. posted this a few days ago and was just looking for any advice. . .I think i must be going through this flare thing, because I have been not feeling nearly as well as I was for the first few months since last Friday(a little under 2 weeks now). How long does the flare usually last? I tried going back to just intro diet and easily digestible foods(chicken soup, beef patties, apple sauce, yogurt with honey, ripe bananas), but it didn't seem to make much of a difference. I added back in cheddar cheese, and almond butter just a day or two ago, but I'm not sure if this is a bad idea. Also, my D isn't horrible, but it is definitely there sometimes, and is occasionally sort of greenish(sorry for the graphic nature.) Is this normal? Any tips?
