Guest guest
Gwynne, Thanks for sharing that I can see it in my minds eye!! Beth in NC age 48 Fibrotic NSIP 06/06 sunsets S,Thank you sooooooooo much for the scrumptious description ofa gorgeous sunset! Sunsets and clouds are some of the topthings on my favorite EVER things on earth. And with all thatWest Texas dust thrown in, a sunset there can really be spectacular. At my house, instead of panoramic views (which I had whilegrowing up), I mostly have pretty courtyards with a sky viewover the brick wall. Therefore, I don't catch many sunsets unlessI'm already somewhere besides home or sitting in the courtyard. My great aunt lived in Post for most of her life, and when I wasa kid I used to go visit my cousin there - my mom and I wouldtake the train to Lubbock. Early every morning my cousin and Iwould ride bikes over to my Aunt Joy's house while she'd makehomemade biscuits for us. Great memories of a small town, theinnocence of childhood, and family ties!Hope you have another glorious sunset tomorrow!Hugs,Gwynne IPF 7/04 listed for transplant 3/07 TexasP.S.Hey, Gang, my depression has lifted a little bit. Part of it iscaused by the feeling that the four walls are closing in on me,with my newest set of limitations. Some of the things I oncewould have done to relieve boredom (the word didn't exist forme!) take more energy or ability to focus than I've currently got,so I can get jittery or stir-crazy. I know I'm not alone. Thanksfor the prayers.
Guest guest
Hi Gwynne! So glad to hear your depression level is better. Today was not as windy again but hopefully the sunset will be almost as spectacular. I can't believe anybody knows where Post is but also has actually visited there! I love unexpectedly reliving a pleasant childhood memory, something I haven't thought about in years. I hope my " sunsets " did that for you. I just wanted to share that beautiful moment with everybody.
