Guest guest
Joyce.... You don't look pitiful at all. Thats part of our problem. You just look like any ordinary woman who's been through the holidays. If our cannulas weren't visible when we went out, most would think we looked perfectly healthy. If we all had the oxyview glasses like Gwynne (which I'm strongly considering) they'd never know. Even sitting across and talking and knowing it almost escapes you. I'm sure 99% of the people thought what a beautiful lady and well, not sure what they thought about me, but except for the hose in my nose (and she didn't have that) wondering what those things they're carrying are and why. So, I don't buy the pitiful looking. You look quite lovely to me. But, I know your health condition so I can see beyond the appearance. Just reminds how tough it is for others. Some times I think we should wear labels, but then most of the time I'm glad not to be seen when I'm out as I really am physically. I think its our own limitations too that hit us. And I'm sure as things progress its much worse. I see your shower problems. For me, I've always carried my own luggage into the hotel. Now, the trip this week, I'm going to have them not only carry luggage but take my liquid reservoir in as well. Now, they don't mind, its a good tip, and I don't really mind asking. But its still a subtle reminder. > > > > > I posted some pics to Babs in Drifwood, Babs Pics. > > > h is my daughter, an only child who is now 27.
