Hi all,

I remembered that that prettypark.exe came over this list. Often, things are reported as viruses when, in fact, they are harmless. The prettypark.exe however is an actual virus that, when opened, goes out into your hard drive and looks for personal info such as credit card numbers. It is designed to attach itself to your e-mail addresses and send itself out to everyone on your list. They ran a story about it on the KCRA news tonight. To learn more, and to verify that this isn't one of those hoax-virus e-mails warning about a virus that doesn't exist, go to: www.thekcrachannel.com and click on 3/4/00 stories. This one is a real virus so if you get it, don't open it. An anti-virus program called " Prettypark Cleaner " will actually go into your system, clean the virus, patch it and get rid of the " Pretty Park " virus. You can find the " Prettypark Cleaner " at www.getvirushelp.com or www.softseek.com.

Good luck.

Kathleen :)
