Guest guest
Zena, After I was diagnosed and went on O2 I stopped using makeup altogether for several months. I was looking at myself as a "sick person" and sick people don't wear makeup or care what they look like. I never wore alot of makeup but I quickly got tired of looking at my pale face with bright red cheeks and dark circles under my eyes so I went back to my makeup. I still use what I used before and that's mineral makeup. I use a brand called Bare Minerals but there are lots of brands out there. It's in powder form which sounds odd but it's not like regular face powder. It doesn't come off on my cannula and stays in place really well. The bonus for me is it doesn't aggravate my rosacea. My skin is fairly sensitive so I've been fussy about what I put on it. That's what works for me, I'll be interested in what suggestions others may have. Beth in NC age 48 Fibrotic NSIP 06/06 One for the girls wearing cannulas. Do you wear make up? I'm not one for wearing make up often, and since I've had to wear the cannula full time I haven't worn foundation at all. I don't want to end up with a shiney line across my face. With the butterfly rash, the line would be quite noticable. So I've been letting my natural beauty shine through. And now I'm bored with shining! So do you have any problems with foundation, any tips on what stays well and what doesn't? Thank you Love Ze xx
