Wow, finally set down at the computer What a day! The main event in our

day is that a semi trainer truck rear ended us! We were in my dh SUV but

our children were with us. I lost my temper (the red in my hair/and the

mommy fire that all us moms have when it comes to our babies); They were

crying and I jumped out and yelled " there are children in here, fool "

asked me to calm down. I think he was just worried about his

" bod " ; visions of the computer whiz getting slaughtered by the burly

trucker.( just kidding) The driver was understanding and felt bad for

his error. I apologized for my outburst. God was watching us! I pray

this driver doesn't lose his job over this acident.

Luari, this is great about Henry, and to have this other Dr. there that is

great!!!. The ONLY way for this to continue is for other DOCTORS to get

the vision and to practice it!!

ee, Reading about your sons prevous treatment made me teary eyed.

Poor fellow no wounder he is " high maintence " It is amazing that

" spells " that doctors can have on us at times. We received the same type

of feedback about Ivy's first dr. about how great he is... one of the best

in the city. I do still think he is a good doctor, just not speciallzed

(he is not a pediatric ortho) and he did the best to his knowledge. I do

pray that he will INCREASE that knowledge and learn/practice P's method.

It sounds as if everything is coming into place for you as far as getting

to Iowa. I am so excieted for you and for .

Kim, how did s feet look today after the first cast was

removed? Marked improvement?

, Kim, and who ever else is in town Thursday do you all want to meet

for lunch again? I am not sure how long our appointment will be. We might

have the heel cord release again, and I think she might get fitted for her

shoes. Please let me know and we can make plans. I'll be coming with

Barbie again this week, so I will be in Iowa in the early evening. I have

poor night vision. Actually scare my bh to pieces! So Wed eveing might

be a thought too.

Allyson, the Ponseti Penthouse, cute.... made me LOL.

Lori, I was thinking about Dawn and her family. Where are they coming

from? How a long is the trip, no bed stops? Oh my prayers are with

them. I was even thinking about making some goodies for the road for them.

thought that that might be weird for them ~ getting baked goods

from a stranger ~ My thoughts are with them though. If you think they

might enjoy some cookies or something let me know.

Becky, I been thinking about you and Ezabella too. How are her feet and

the adjustment to the shoes? Is it still taking two of you to put them on?

Are you doctors still interested in learning Dr. Ponseti's method?

Sara,

MERCY! What a scary thing to have happen with that semi!!!!

UFF DA!!! I am so glad that you are all OK.

Talked to Dawn this evening. She is coming from Sioux Falls

SD. About a 7 hour drive. The plan is that they will leave

Wed. after work and drive most of the night to arrive (hopefully)

at the RMDH and stay Wed. night. They have a van I believe

and she said they could take turns sleeping. I think they plan

on leaving right after their appointment at 9am so they can be

back in Sioux Falls Friday. Dawn has warned her work that

she may be out Friday as well if her son is uncomfortable.

I did warn her that the first cast may cause some discomfort

and to be 'prepared', she said she was prepared for it to be

a 'long' trip back. I bet she would have no problems accepting

goodies from you. I think that is SO SWEET of you!

Wish we could all do lunch. (boo hoo)

Oh, my, this sounds so familiar! This is how my husband and I went the

first time! For us, we went to Waterloo the first night, but it took a

long time to get there because of wrong turns (oops, I fell asleep) and

then we couldn't find the hotel we were supposed to stay at (wayyyyyy on

the other end of town)! What we do now is leave the morning of the appt

(which is usually at 3), stay at my uncle's in Cedar Rapids that night

(6 kids plus Rose - not a lot of rest!), and leave the next morning to

drive the 6-7 hour trip (my bum is getting sore thinking about it) to

get home in time for evening chores! Boy, do I sympathize with Dawn!!

Please tell her she is in our thoughts and prayers.
