I have a low opinion of most docs because I have been around the block a time or two. Most of us with autoimmune issues have been there. There are so many LAZY docs. I am astonished when I run into one like the doc I saw on Monday. He actually spent at least 1 1/2 hours with me, then said he was taking my chart home to read!!!!

Docs like that are RARE! Most want to give you 5 - 15 minutes. Time is money!! I have had them lay their hand on the doorknob while I was asking a question. I had a doc (a high priced specialist) actually stand in the hallway. He talked to me from the doorway. Thirty seconds maybe and left me with a tech. Never saw him again but the bill that he presented to my insurance was hefty!

Autoimmune issues are so complicated. You deserve better.
