Guest guest Posted January 12, 2008 Report Share Posted January 12, 2008 Mama Sher, I hope Lola's skin problem isn't any big deal. Misha's a Bichon, and they're known for their skin problems. I hadn't heard of a doggie dermatologist, but I'm not surprised. I took Misha to a canine allergist, and I've been giving her an allergy shot every 2 weeks for years. At age 11, Misha's problems always worry me more than they would if she weren't geriatric. She's also getting cataracts and has polycystic kidneys. Getting old isn't for sissies even when you're a dog! Beth and Zena, It's heartwarming to hear about your greys. I'm glad Ruger has a good home, and that Jess is such a happy girl. Oh, how we do love them. It's hard to even fathom how anyone could be cruel to a poor defenseless animal. Sandie, I've never had a panic attack, but what you experienced sounds awful. I'm so glad you were able to get help and are feeling better. Sorry you've got so many things to deal with at the same time! We're cheering you on. I've got a nasty headache today, so it's back to bed for me. It's amazing how often I think of all of you.
