Guest guest
Hi, I'm one of the really OLD oldtimers. I used to be on the Maelstrom list and followed to the LongIsland list and again followed everyone on to this group. A long long time ago I was diagnosed with Crohns and for a few years I struggled with conventional medicines and nothing worked. Finally surgery was my only option. I refused surgery and started to look into alternatives. I found the SCD and after 4 years of Strict SCD I was " cured " . My doc said that my Crohns had " burnt it self out " . (He refused the diet had anything to do with it!) I continued on a slightly moderated SCD for 4 more years and then I just dropped it. I have had no symptoms from my intestines for years. But know I have contracted a chronic inflamatory decease in my lungs. Doc says its a lungdecease seen in about 10% of alle UC and Crohns patients. In other words - It appears I've got Crohns in my lungs! (More or less). I've been trying to find some information whether or not SCD can help my lungs. I cannot seem to find ant references between lung deceases and SCD. Does anyone know? Kind Regards Arielle from Denmark (Formally known as KrisV from Denmark - for those who remember me.)
