MN Gyn and Surgery in Minnesota is pretty familiar with vulvodynia and

vaginismus. You would want to see either Dr. Prestheus or Dr. Beadle.

Dr. M. Beadle, MD

B. Presthus, MD

Tina M. Sonnek, NP

Minnesota Gynecology and Surgery

7450 France Ave. S. Suite 240

Hello all!

Say, does anyone know of a good Dr. or Nurse in the Twin cities? I

have vulvodynia and vaginismus.

Thanks!

Hi ,

I would say I am more like 95%. I think I am always going to have to treat

the area with estrogen and watch what I eat, wear and such.

What does "good results" mean? Are you better? What did they do?

I don't know about Bluberri, but I was just told to avoid foods with wheat

and yeast in it (which means often purchasing foods at the co op). I also

recieved a Nystatin prescription. This was all through my doctor in

LaCrosse WI. He also treats me for food allergies with antigen drops (they

work like the shots do, but without the risks and more people are able to

take them).

I know we have discussed the candida diet before. Could and

blueeberri@... sorry I could not find your name, Please tell us where to

find the candida diet you both used and where to get the antifungals. Some

of us were not in on that discussion. thanks, ML

<<<<I have to agree on the sugar and yeast issue. I have definatly seen a

connection and even Dr. on (my specialist that preformed my surgery)

told me I would need to cut out the sugar and had me tested for impaired

glucose tolerance which I think more doctors are recognizing. Some doctors

call it pre diabetes.

Bunny

From: blueeberri@...

I personally would never have the surgery. I went on the candida diet adn

took antifungals. avoid certan soaps, etc and my VV went away completely.

hat could help me figure out why I keep

having

this problem. (candida) I think my hormones are really off balance. I got

tested and I had low DHEA and testosterone. I started on a testosterone

cream. The

problem is at my age (43) it is much harder to get your hormones balanced.

So

I need to find an expert in that area.>>
