You forgot to mention that the research list you are on is desperately in need

of funding to continue operating. The cost of medical journal articles is high

(up to $10 per copy!) and goes through these like most of us go through

bathroom tissue (and everyone knows how much that is with cf!!!)

Also the costs of substances to test, etc., etc.

If anyone is interested in contributing, or knows of anyone interested in

furthering cf research that it independant of the CFF, contributions can be made

I should note that these contributions are not tax deductible. If you know

anyone sitting on a pile of cash somewhere that they want to get rid of, this is

a good cause, and the ShaRe group is moving in a speedy fashion towards better

treatments and a cure for cystic fibrosis. And they don't have the strangle

hold of red tape around their necks stopping or slowing them from reaching their

goals.

On a completely different note: SUE, I bet that the abbreviation for the

personality types at that meeting was S.T.A.R., wasn't it? I'm picturing visual

aids with a big star on them, and maybe an opening joke about what a star has to

do with personalities.... What type of person would look at it, then rearrange

the letters to spell *R.A.T.S.*??? That's the column you'll find me in!
