ABA therapist with 15 years of experience implementing 1:1 early

intensive behavioral intervention as well as supported

inclusion/shadowing for children on the autism spectrum ages 18 months

to 8 years old. I have extensive training in promoting speech and

communication in non verbal children including those also diagnosed

with apraxia. I develop programs and work with the children according

to their individuals needs- I do not use a " cookie cutter " approach!

The focus of my practice is teaching children the skills they need in a

positive manner and working with them to replace non functional or

inappropriate behaviors with functional communication and social

skills. I have raised a daughter on the spectrum who is going to

college next year so I understand what it is like to have a child with

special needs. I will have mornings available until 1:30 p.m. beginning
