Hi Groupies,

I have made a few comments, etc here but I haven't really posted lately how I really feel. My sinus problem seems to be the best it can be. Some days, my nose runs freely and other days, it doesn't. (Sorry I know that sounds gross) My coughing has really improved. The cough medicine my local pulmonary dr. prescribed for me is no longer made by the company that produced it. So, I hope the cough stays away! Eddie & I have had all kind of things happen in our home. The washing machine started leaking water underneath it Sunday night and when Eddie moved it, VOILA! Such a black, watery mess! Probably the source of my congested sinuses! Eddie went to Home Depot on Sunday at 6:30 pm and bought a washer & dryer. Ours were 23 years old, so we are replacing both. I certainly wasn't looking for this to happen! I just spent all my money on (with pleasure, of course.)Last evening called to tell us about her first Comcast bill (TV, phone, & internet). It came in just a little above $200! hasn't had a payday yet. Eddie called them (again) and got it down to $120. After she pays that, it will be $114.(which is more like it should be). Since our washer quit working Sunday night, on Monday morning Max decided to vomit on my bed! Only our bedspread got a little moisture because we have an old quilt for him to lay on. I love dogs, but this is one thing that is hard for me. I have emailed the doctor at Emory in Atlanta to find out when I am suppose to come back. I last saw him the first part of September and then at the end of October for the special education day, sponsored by the Coalition. Today, Eddie called to find out if our washer & dryer would be delivered tomorrow. The number that they gave us told us we wouldn't get it until January 23rd. Eddie immediately drives to Home Depot and speaks to the supervisor of appliances who discovers there are 300 of this brand in the warehouse. So it will be delivered tomorrow or I will have to go to KMart and buy Eddie some underwear! I bet he quits putting off washing his clothes now (LOL)!!! is loving her job. Her company is having a semi-formal annual dinner tonight. We are going to visit the weekend of February 1st, which is her birthday. I am looking forward to another weekend away. Hope everyone is doing well. I want to also welcome all the new members. We are really getting larger & larger! So awesome!

Toodles!

Oh Sinuses in your area this time of year.....I remember.

Sounds like from the tone, in spite of leaks and overstated bills and

dog vomits and late deliveries, you're really all three doing well.

Truth be told things went smoother and worked out better than you

expected didn't they?

First job you're excited...income....then realize the wait for the

first check. I'm sure her birthday will be great for everyone. I know

you're very proud of her.

Jane, I remember those days my washer did the same exact thing one

time. Accept I had bought that washer from home depot! They

actually had to come and replace the whole washer after fixing it

twice. But you do sound chipper and that is nice to know with

everything else going on! keep up the good spirits I hope the doc

calls you or emails you back really soon!

Take care of yourself!

Hi Jane...just want to say I do read your posts and this one sounds like you surely have had some 'excitement'.

Good that you can see soon and get away.

Hope Max is ok. Sometimes dogs vomit and their ok.

Take care.
