Following two straight years of budget cuts to the Agency for Persons with Disabilities, the implementation of the new Tier structure began on October 15th. In addition, service hours and rates have been aggressively limited. Meanwhile, the waiting list exceeds 17,000 people and continues to grow. To make matters worse, Governor Crist has requested all agencies submit new budgets with an additional 4% cut, possibly with more to come.

Many have already lost services and many have filed appeals. We intend to fight to stop any additional cuts to APD this legislative session and we need your help.
