Guest guest
Actually, drinking milk was my main problem. At 6 months of age, they hospitalized me and fed me via a tube in the nose. I would drink Ginger-ale though. Many people don't realize that milk can be harder to swallow than other liquids. Doctors now tell you to lay off the milk when you have a cold; it thickens the mucus somehow. Plus, I have never been able to swallow gulps. Always have cut food up small; especially meat like steak (proably because it is thicker) If I swallow to much liquid at once, it fills like a bulge going down and it hurts. Basically, I have just learned to adapt without even realizing it. Guess I'm just a survivor. Peace and Grace Tina Marie
