Guest guest
Per Stedman's Concise, precipitant-anything causing a precipitation from a solution (so that would be what's causing the precipitation, but...) or precipitin-an antibody that under suitable conditions combines with and causes its specific and soluble antigen to precipitate from solution (so a precipitin is an antibody). I know that IgG and IgE are antibodies, so I would guess precipitin is correct. ) ----Original Message Follows---- To: <nmtc > Subject: Aspergillus Date: Sun, 16 Dec 2001 18:34:23 -0800 Cocci titers, Aspergillus __*precipitants or precipitins* , anti-Aspergillus IgG and IgE, and total IgE.
