Guest guest
Maureen, How is your doing now? Are you still using the DBB? My son is one and we are using the DBB and used the Ponseti method of manipulations and castings which did make a big difference in his foot from the other orthopedic doctor that was going to operate on him at six months old. We did start this method later than most on this board as we learned of this method when Zach was five months old. We know that the chances of needing an operation are higher due to his age when we started using the Ponseti method he would have a 50% chance but we are trying our best. Thank you for answering my question , Kathy
Guest guest
Maureen, How have you been? My son Zachary started to walk. We are going for a check-up next week and are waiting to see what Dr.van Bosse will say. He has mentioned a brace insert inside the shoes for daytime hours and at night we will continue the DBB. Zachary does curl his toes downward as he relaxes so we are keeping him in shoes by day and DBB at naps and night time. I will keep you informed of our visit.
