Guest guest
, I'm the other with NSIP...Welcome again. I know what you mean about feeling as if your energy dial is turned down. My husband keeps reminding me that I have a certain amount of energy ( sort of like an energy budget) each day upon waking. I just have to manage it so that I can do what I want to do without running out of "charge" before I get home . Have you taken the dreaded Prednisone? It has helped me but I dearly hate the side-effects and hope to be down to 10mg soon. I seem to one of a few people here that have seen a benefit from it despite the side-effects. I now have osteoporosis, a cataract, thinning ( but now curly) hair, easily bruised skin cognitive issues which have lessened over time, etc. There is a data-base on this site with our experiences that may be helpful to you. Just scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on data base. You may have to supply an ID or password to get through to the Yahoo stuff. I am on O2..2.5-3 lpm basically 24/7 and hate the nose hose but the oxygen does help me to fell better. ..I'm sorry that this post is rambling away...that's one of the cognitive issues! Yeah for good days! Made homemade pizza tonight with rice flour. Yumm To answer your question from last time Bruce - I am on O2 at night and whenever I feel tired or have lots of errands, then I strap on my portable. My sats were running about 94 but I think it is less than that now. I feel like the dial my body runs on has been turned down a notch if that makes any sense. I saw a posting from another yesterday that also has NSIP but I only logged in for a minute. I can't blog at work - against company policy and since I wrote the policy I guess I better live by it. What was I thinking that day? LOL , Texas NSIP & PF 12/2006 No virus found in this incoming message. Checked by AVG Free Edition. Guest guest
To you and others I would strongly recommend getting an oxymeter so you can check your oxygen levels under different conditions. > > I'm just checking in again for a few minutes, saying hello and it has > been a good day, considering.
