My town is considered a Regional CITY (50,000 population) we have a big BASE Hospital that does have 1 Respiratory Specialist...BUT not only does he have to cover ALL the In-patients in the big Lismore hospital he TRAVELS to all the outlying smaller hospitals....and then he has to fit in his OUT-patients ....that's why, when I rang for my appointment in early December I got my appointment for MARCH & that was GOOD!

Also he covers EVERY Lung Disease known to Western Medicine!

If I didn't like Him, well, TOUGH, there IS no other unless I want to travel 4 hours up & then 4 hours BACK to/from Brisbane to see one up there who has the same overload! He does Lung Transplants & all major Lung Surgery for a big Brisbane Hospital as well so he's liable not to be in his rooms when you do get there...

I fully expect to travel this road pretty much alone ....we're expected to do it this way! So we do!
