Guest guest Posted October 25, 2000 Report Share Posted October 25, 2000 - Take a chelated iron tablet (can be found at www.vitamins.com if you can not find it locally), it is easiest for the body to absorb, with orange juice or some other acidic liquid first thing in the morning before anything else. Give it about 30 minutes to absorb and then have your coffee etc. My iron count came back low at my 3 month check and that is what I was advised to do. Good luck!
