Dear Fellow Groupies:

I got the check on Saturday to replace Miki's cochlear device. It took three weeks and one day from loss to payment of claim, which considering most other insurance claims I heard of, was very quick. Broward School Board was very pleasant to deal with. All in all they made a very unfortunate situation bearable.

I want to again thank all that responded to my posts. Without your responses I probably would have flipped out, not a good frame of mind for effective advocacy.
