Hi Sandie,

I'm only asking! Have you've tried to research the Osteomyelitis Disease and find out as much information as you possibly can, take down notes of the info etc....while the drs review your case and decide what they want to do.....at the same time you will have gathered information of your own and ask a lot of questions.

If you decide to see a new dr, in order for him/her to help you....send your chart about 2 months in advance with a letter attached explaining your situation, what you have been through, include everything you want to say. In order for him to revise it and if he/she sees you need to come in sooner they will contact you for an appointment.

If dr's in your area or other areas are using e-mail, e-mail them your story. Talk to other patients etc..., see were it takes you.

Below, I have posted some information, I hope it helps.

Have you've seen an Orthopedic dr?

Why are they sending you again to see a GI? They must have a reason as to why they are sending you to see one....did you ask why you had to see one? was their reason a valid one? you will only know the answer to that!

Here's a some info you can look at:

Oh Joyce that is a good one, not that your asking but the ENT

diagnosing. Remember I have this issue with my face swelling up and

cellultis in my face. So after two hospitalizations and continal of

them saying I have sinus infections which I never had one before, so

they send me to an ENT now he doesnt practice at a hospital or

anything he is one of those floating docs thats must have his own

practice out some where else and comes to country hospitals once a

month or something.

Anyway I took my stuff to him and I said wouldnt a person with sinus

stuff have trouble breathing through thier nose, he said yes! I said

I dont he could even feel the lump in my face so he is the one who

sent for an MRI - that is how they said I have ostemyletis that bone

infection in my face he said I dont see anything in your sinuses.

So then I took my stuff out to the U of M to the DIRECTOR of the

maxofacial dentist school/clinic - he said you for certain have sinus

disease. I said well the doctor who ordered the MRI said I dont he

said I will call him and tell him different you for certain do. But

to this day I havent gotten a call from them about the osteomyletis

just a letter saying they are reviewing everything and will get back

to me. That was the first part of december I got the letter the

appt to see him was like November 18th or something.

So thats why I am tired of doctors not one person is taking the time

to look at everything its like I have several things going on so no

one stops to look at the whole picture.
