Guest guest
Hi everyone, I just want to share about a great ABA based computer program. It is called Teach Town. You can google/yahoo it and sign up. The discs will be mailed to you free of charge and to utilize the service is $39 per month I believe. It is well worth it. I have not explored the entire program but it appears geared towards younger kids and/or more naive learners. The program has a curriculum based on several learning domains. Discrete trials are presented and the child is rewarded. The program provides a pre-test, learning trials, correction trials (if warranted), prompting (if warranted), exercises, reviews and post-test for mastery of the material. The child is rewarded frequently and can choose their reward. The program also provides several activities for each learning domain to assist with generalization of the material. Fantastic. The program compiles the information and collects data (I love data!) to assist with further teaching. This program is really great. My kid loves it! I would like to acquire information about other programs if available. I know jacob's lessons is an online program, which also presents discrete trials and is free of course (always a benefit). If you are looking for a great computer program for your child, please check this out... http://web.teachtown.com/
