i had wls on 01/22/98 as well as a breast lift about three months before i

got pregnant. i delivered a beautiful baby girl on 11/01/99 and was able to

breastfeed with no problems.

i was very concerned about being able to breastfeed for the very same

reasons you are, especially since i had just had the breast lift and then to

top it off she came 6wks early, so i was very concerned about her getting

enough nutrition!!! i breastfed exclusively up until she was 10mo old and

she did great and continued to grow and gain weight with no problem. she

started biting me and i continued to breastfeed for about 2wks after that

and i just could'nt take it anymore....it got to the point where she drew

blood a couple of times...ouch!!!!!!!!

go for it.....it was a wonderful experience for me and i would definitely

encourage you to try!!!!!
