Guest guest
Hey Sue,, Not to worry, we all like reading your mail! I can also sympasize with your feeding problems. What I think is not nessicarily correct, and I am not arguing with Torsten, I mean whatever works for them, is great. But I really think at Kenzie's age the more attention you pay to her eating (or lack of) the worse it can get. I would ask to speak to the doctor without her present (2 year olds understand a lot) and and them to please not emphasize her eating while she is there. If her weight is so bad that it's affecting her health I think a feeding tube is preferable to giving her a lifelong aversion to eating. I don't know how tall she is either but I agree 25 lbs doesn't sound too bad for a 2 year old. I have 's weights recorded in her baby book and she weighed 26 lbs at age 2 and only 27 at age 3! Now she is 15 and she's 5'2 " and weighs 125 lbs or so, shes not underweight at all. I think kids this age just are notorious for not eating. If you can just get some vitamins down her and keep her hydrated and so forth that should be ok. The doctors shouldn't make us feel guilty for our kids appetites or lack thereof. just my 2 cents! love, Re: (no subject) >From: eaglette@... > > > >Hi! > > > Sorry...I thought I was posting back directly to the postee...not to the list...I'll watch it and not >do that again. > > >Sue > > >---------------------------
