We have this problem too. DS2 doesn't have many accidents these days, but, when

he does, everything is stone cold by the time that he realises there is a

problem

Sounds a bit like DS2 he used to be terrible every morning I would go in and he

would be lying in a puddle of wee, stinking yuk.

He just sleeps sooooo heavily he doesn't wake up. Although he is better now.

I've got him trained now, he will wet his bed maybe once every 4-6 weeks, and

always when I look back it will be after an day/evening when he has drunk more

than usual. I always stayed very very calm as screaming and shouting doesn't

help matters. DH used to get a little bit stressed! But having been an

occasional bed wetter myself up until my late teens I know what he was going

through if you get my drift.

Now if he does it as long as he remembers to kick his quilt off onto the floor

so I only have a sheet to wash then I'm fine, however if he forgets I'm not a

happy bunny. Luckily he has two very thin quilts which don't take very long to

dry, and are small enough to go into my tiny tumble dryer if need be.

DS1 never ever wets the bed, funny how to kids can be sooooo different.
