Guest guest
Hello . I wondered about this before Mycah was potty-trained also. She potty-trained fairly easily at age 29 months. Making poop became much easier for her on a toilet. I'm not sure why, but she always seemed to be struggling when she was using a diaper. I wish you and luck in this adventure. Mycah is pretty independent too, but still lets me help her in the bathroom. Of course, that could all change by the time she's 3 1/2! Guest guest
, I didn't see that big a difference in potty training my cf and my non-cf children. (11 wcf) was not interested in the potty until about a month before her 3rd birthday. Her grandmother sent her Mickey Mouse underwear for Valentine's Day, and she decided that she HAD to wear them! Almost overnight she was potty trained. It happened very fast! But, two footnotes I will add; she was a bedwetter until age 8 and to this day, she has a very difficult time wiping herself clean after a bm. (She would die if she knew I were saying this.) Her underwear are still a bit of a mess every laundry day from the yucky oily stuff. I am not sure if she just doesn't try enough, or it is too difficult to do. Isn't this swell conversation? Good luck with your efforts! I am currently in the final stages of potty training my little one, and know what a relief it is.
