When replying make sure the To:_______ is set on

low dose naltrexone instead of the poster's private email address.

This board is set to send replies to the poster's private email instead of here.

You have to click up at the top on a reply to send your message where you want

it to go. So always look to see where your reply is going before you hit send.

the problem you're having is the reason I created my own LDN forum. The board

owner said that this board was set up for updates and any replies should go to

the original poster's private email. I don't like that set-up. I like to see

the replies too. I learn from reading the replies.

Hello everyone,

I have been having extreme fatigue off and on here lately. I cannot keep my eyes open and I fall asleep just sitting on the couch or at my computer chair. And that is very unusual for me. I also find it hard to drive, because I have almost fallen asleep. Which I do not drive anymore when I a extremely exhausted. Does anyone else have this problem? Is this caused by the RA? I do not go to my Rheumatologist until Oct. 4th. I also have polycystic ovarian syndrome and I know that causes fatigue as well. This extreme fatigue has recently started about a month or so ago. It is not extreme everyday, but I am tired everyday. Just wondering if this is normal for RA.

Hi Anita,

I get spells like that. RA can cause fatigue, you really need to discuss it with your rheumy. Are your bloods ok as Anaemia can cause extreme tiredness too.

hope this helps, Lynne

Gosh Anita, I have days where I sleep all day and night. I was told fatigue is a major side effect of RA

I agree that lots of people with RA also have severe fatigue but I think it's

not directly from the RA. Instead I think that Chronic Fatigue Syndrome is an

autoimmune disease similar to RA and often goes along with it. There are so

many different shades of autoimmune diseases and so often we have more than one

that it is hard to tell what we really have. God bless.
