Guest guest
Just checking... Are you taking Effexor XR (extended release)? Regular Effexor is shorter acting. My awful insurance company just decided they won't pay for the XR! I told my doc and he wants me to appeal. I take it for depression and doc says the XR is preferable. Hang in there! Guest guest
Hi. Yes I am taking the XR. I took the regular kind at first and the XR works *much* better. My insurance, Medco, took it off their list of " preferred medications " . It costs $50 per month now. For the time being we are just paying for it. > > Just checking... Guest guest
I found that since I tried two meds and they were not successful, the third med which my insurance would not pay for was requested by my doctor...I forget what she called it...and it was made an exception and now they pay for the Lexapro. My cost is 62.40 a month....I take two pills in am, one in afternoon, and one in evening. Elavil and Cymbalta did not work for me. hugs, ML <<< My awful insurance company just decided they won't pay for the XR! I told my doc and he wants me to appeal.
