I don't think there is a breed we haven't had..lol nuts.Anyhow, our dogs would get the thickening on their ears from shaking from ear mites. They too looked like a tiny something how been biting chunks out. Sometimes they are such a pain to get rid of. Anyhow I am sure your taking good care of the sweetie.
