Guest guest
What are you worried about specifically Shirley? It seems like an ok menu... a little light on calories in my opinion, but going low does help some people - one of those YMMV things. If I were you, I'd measure the cream as I added it to the tea and find out just how much you are putting in each cup - those non-specified generic amounts may not be accurately reflecting your reality! Wasn't there any artifical sweetner in your cheese cake? Did you use the liquid stuff (truly no carbs)? If you used any sweetner in a powdered form, it does have some carbs and we can help you figure those out so you can enter it as a custom food. Did you only have 1 meal besides breakfast? I only see 1 chicken breast on there. You might want to also add some nutrient dense veggies especially if you aren't taking supplements - spinach packs more punch than lettuce... brocolli is better than cucumber, etc. If you have trouble retaining water, then the bacon, salsa, and parmesan may all contribute to water retention as they are usually high in sodium. Strategies to boost metabolism include eating 4-6 mini-meals a day instead of a couple of big ones - our metabolisms get a little raise each time we eat. You may find that you can squeeze in a bit more food that way too - not getting overly full at any one sitting. I average around 1800 calories a day - it works for me, but that's not saying it's any guarantee to work for you. How long have you been tracking what you eat? I'd do it for at least a week and then do a report to see your average breakdowns over the week. That'll give you your baseline so you can start tweaking things more effectively. If your calories are really low and you aren't losing, than that's an indication that for you, you might want to try raising them a little to see if that helps. Hope some of those ramblings help!
