Guest guest
I was the guy unhappy with his urologist and with MUSE. I saw the GU yesterday. He had a couple of things to say to me. First, the cancer was " mildly aggressive " on final path but he wouldn't recommend radiation as some would, but just wants to follow my PSA frequently and only act if it goes up. Second, since I use no pad at night or by day when at home, just have some stress incontinence at 7 months post RARP, that I am doing much better than expected in that regard. Third, MUSE probably isn't for me after all. He gave me a scrip for a trial of Viagra and if that doesn't work, as is likely, we will see about TriMix, either the gel or injections. Yes, I know I swore I would never inject, but if I could get over sticking something up my urethra then a 31 ga. needle couldn't be much worse. He also promised a more active approach to getting my drug plan to increase my supply of whatever we settle on to more than six a month. He is also sending me to the group's ED specialist to see about a pump. Beyond that, he dictated a letter to the referring urologist I was considering going back to, so he is up to date on me. We talked about other things and had a good talk. So, I am staying with him. I hope that is the end of this story.
