Guest guest
Hi all, My 3 1/2 year old had an in-utero stroke. A lot of his symptoms are similar to autism and other disorders ( hypotonia, speech delay, digestive issues, etc) He has been in various therapies for over a year with great success. We started SCD in October on the advice of a father who used it to treat his son's autism. We saw results within 2 weeks. Now 5 months later, my son's symptoms are almost gone. He looks completely healthy, acts almost normal, and has fully formad stools for the first time in over a year. I was always told by his ped. and neurologist that he just had an immature digestive system. Now my ped. is seeing these amazing results and thinks it may have been celiac disease all along masked behind his stroke. OK now to my question. She wants to test him, but says we need to feed him wheat before we can test. Is this true? Is there any other test that they acn do? How accurate are these tests? It just makes no sense to take a child who is finally thriving and giving him " poison " just to see, but now I am so worried that he has this that I can't sleep (which makes no sense because even if he has it, we are already doing the best thing) I am worried about my other child too. Any advice would be wonderful. i just started researching and am losing my mind.
Guest guest
I would not undo all that you have done. You have all the proof you need already. You can always do it later when he's a teenager. Let his immune system build up for awhile. alexanderkparents1818 wrote: Hi all, My 3 1/2 year old had an in-utero stroke.
