Guest guest
IF you are looking for a lap dog try contacting rescue group such as Chihuahua rescue, Papillon rescue, there is usually a rescue group for every breed and they include mixed as well. There is also HUA - sometimes all they ask for is a small donation and references from a vet and friends. Rescue can be a great way to help yourself and a dog in need. I have decided to get a lap puppy. I can't afford to buy a pure bred, but I am asking God to put one in my path. I think it would be nice, cause I spend so much time alone. Dear friends at RA, I thought I'd write and tell you that I'm still alive and sorry I was away from the group for a few days. My husband was on vacation and we tried to go fishing, in spite of the rain, if only for one day! I was at the RA drs on Thursday morning, and he injected the joint of my left elbow and my left knee so I could move a little better and so far, so good, some pain radiating at times, but thank God, nothing like it was! When I go back in Nov. he is going to start cutting back on the MTX. I look forward to that! Also, took me off the Plaquenil, and I have a lot of that left, so .....I sure wish I knew someone else that takes this stuff. I have decided to get a lap puppy. Our daughter and family live in Tampa and we were quite concerned for them this past week. She had to go to Orlando for work, so wouldn't you know that the storm went for Orlando! Tina said she was scared and could feel the hotel shaking and watched trees being plucked out of the ground. Wish she would believe in God. Would make me feel much better. She had some teacher in grade school who sold her on Darwin and she hasn't been right since. I hope all of you are fine and look forward to sharing another week with you. Guest guest
Hello , glad to have you back! Congrats on deciding to get a lap dog. You should really get one from your local animal shelter. You would be saving a dogs life and they do not adopt out any animals that even hint at being dangerous or uncontrolable. You would have to get the dog fixed, but that should be included in the cost of the adoption, which is usually half of what it would be regularly. And to adopt would not cost near as much as getting a pure bred or one from a pet store. Although, you can get a good dog at some pet stores that are decent pet stores. What ever way you chose, I wish you the best of luck with your decision and Happy Doggie Shopping. Please, please seriously think about getting one from your local animal shelter. Love to you. Guest guest
, I missed you. Glad Tina is okay and I will pray for her. A lap puppy sounds like fun. I have two collies but they stay outside. We just took in another kitten so now I have 6 cats. They each have a different personality and fun to curl up with. On rough days I can be seen with 3 or 4 cats curled up napping with me. Guest guest
Kay, As silly as this may sound, I guess I was hoping and praying that maybe someone in the RA group would have one that they couldn't keep anymore and would give it to me. If it's Gods will, I'll find one, right? Thanks for praying for Tina. ~Kay Simpson <Siwelyak@...> wrote: , I missed you. Glad Tina is okay and I will pray for her. A lap puppy sounds like fun. I am so excited, you have no idea. Love to you and I will write you soon~ Where do you live, . Maybe someone in the group lives near you.
