Guest guest
In the year I have taken it I have noticed no side effects that I can recall. No problem getting it, pay $22 a month. Local pharmacy would not fill it, had to fax prescription to a special number. These people call monthly on renewing order, on blood test. They are very helpful. Has It helped, I am still here so that's a good thingJoyce wrote: Has Tracleer had any side effects for you? Has your insurance fought paying? Other than the numbers, can you feel the difference from taking it? If this turns out to be PH, I actually diagnosed it myself. My pulmo said that since I was clear on my cath 18 months ago, he doubted it. I knew the symptoms matched....I am the one who asked to be checked....just in case. The Duke Doc agreed, so if it is there, it is my find. That is why we need to be aware of all aspects of this disease and educate ourselves to recognize the red flags. Over the ten years that I have survived since biopsy, there were many times that I insisted that a particular test be done and was rarely wrong as to my own diagnosis. Wish I was paid well. Guest guest
Tracleer is only available from Specialty (mail order) Pharmacies, instead of through traditional retail pharmacies. These Specialty Pharmacies help patients on Tracleer stay on track with their treatment plan through reminders for required liver function and pregnancy monthly testing. They also provide other important services, including assistance with insurance questions, and arranging for Tracleer to be delivered conveniently and directly to patients each month. The retail cost for Tracleer is approximately $3,000.00 for a 30 day supply (at 2x/day). My insurance pays all but $25.00 per month for mine, and I received my first month free as a result of a financial assistance program the pharmacutical company provides. I don't know if it works yet, as mine is to be delivered tomorrow. They customer service reps from the Specialty Pharmacy have been extremely polite and helpful. Guest guest
Joyce, I have been taking Tracleer for about 5 years. Just like I get mine from their distribution center. They e-mail me every month, I give them the necessary info then they give me several delivery dates to choose from. I have to have blood tests every month for liver funchtion (i call it the monthly bloodletting). My Dr. just says, " well, something is working " so I keep on taking it, no side effects.
