While I don't have to book a flight, I will use the info you sent to me Leanne and book a room for the Chaz and I. We're making a mini-vacation of it and not driving home each night..... A few things I want to mention to any of you who are staying extra days. For those of you who like a view, the Tower is a neat place to see the whole of San . It was built for the World's Fair and resembles the Needle in Seattle. There is a restaurant that revolves and also an observation deck. We watched fireworks one year there and it was grand! In an aside.....when I was 12 we visited my brother in San and he took us to the Tower. While on the observation deck the wind blew my top over my head, exposing my young womanly attributes (I was well developed at 12, nearly 13 and it being the 70's I was bra-less) and after fighting the top back in place I was mortified to find myself staring at 3 strangers....so word to you all, wear a bra and don't wear a shirt that will fly over your head!!!! LOL!!! AND, for the more adventurous of you, there is a party street called St. 's that is hopping with music on the week-ends. We used to go when we were young and had our band. There is also a Zoo, and Botanical Gardens that are breathtaking. And of course...Remember the Alamo! It is right across from the River Walk. There is also a Fiesta Texas and a Sea World if you have the time. Texas is absolutely beautiful in the Spring. Just doing my Tourism Board thing here.... So excited! As I am sure you know, this is quite a latin celebration and yes, hotels are booking fast in San as there is a huge celebration planned. I checked around long before the site had been chosen by the Board group. Anyway, keep that in mind. It's close to Teri & Jons house. 10 miles from the group. Also 50.00 a night cheeper..LOL I can't wait to meet you and . And Everyone that didn't make it to Chattanooga.THAT was so wonderful.
