Guest guest
Jane, I think the reason my face hasn't greatly improved, is that I went undiagnosed for about two years, when my rosacea first appeared. It was only when I went to an Allergist for the first time that I knew what I had. By that time, my nose had already gotten broken capillaries and was always red. I have had some improvement with the use of Klaron lotion and Metrocream, along with oral Minocycline. I also have ocular rosacea, which does give me occasional discomfort. I try to stay positive and not get depressed over the way my skin looks, but as I'm sure all of you group members know, some days it's really hard not to feel bad. I am in the middle of a really bad flare-up right now and I feel like I look like Rudolph the red nosed reindeer!
