Guest guest
, Don't be in denial. You have what you have. I was diagnosed last year and I used to feel sorry for myself. Look around, there are always people worse of then you, sadly to say. I have to look around quite alot sometimes. I learned that when my Mom got sick, was put on a vent and the Doc only giving her two weeks. She hit's her 1 year mark in August!!! I wasn't put in a hospital. My father-in-law passed away 2 months ago. I didn't. As far as meds; methotrexate, plaquanil, sulfazine and usually Folic acid are one of the more common mixes. And yes there are alot (me also) that take more meds than that. I take all of the above plus Humira and have now bumped up my methotrexate to injection dose. And YOU (Ha! Ha!) don't want to hear about the other 9 differant meds I take. Thank heavens I'm not diabetic or have high blood pressure like alot of others. Don't give up hope . The meds are better than they used to be and there are always new ones coming out. Plus remember; There's always someone, somewhere who would be happy to be in your shoes.
