Guest guest
I suppose many of us have heard stories of people who have set their minds to doing without the tried and tested medical treatments in favour of this or that expensive regime. For some people this works, a very few it seems to us, but we do not know what would have happened if they had used their money to go on a really good holiday and did nothing different. If a treatment is that good the mainstream will pick it up or needs persuading to, following research. This will explain why many of us are pretty sure that those who purvey this "alternative" treatment and offer a cure are just out to make a fast pound or dollar. We will talk much persuading and years of evidence. What does seem to work (usually slows down progression) for many is good diet, some nutrition additives, relaxation, a good walk, the feeling good complimenatary traetments that don't hurt the pocket too much etc. This may mainly be improvements in how we feel, less impact on the heart etc. I would rather have a decade of feeling positive than 10 years sat in the chair moping that I have PCa. PS Our golfer from Worksop who plays in Yorkshire nearly got a green jacket, hope Phil Mickleson's wife does well with her breast cancer PPS I have a green jacket, I bought it at an noutdoor clothing shop in Settle, North Yorkshire, nearest I get to playing golf is crazy golf at the seaside PPPS - one liners as a PS are OK to lighten the posts - not full messages
