Guest guest
I refuse to wear pantyhose too, so my skirts and dresses are all longer length so I don't have to worry about it. It takes very little energy expenditure and no money unless you do mail in contests. The plus is that it helps with the optimism and with a lack of disposable income. You may not get what you would buy but I always say "Something coming in is more fun than nothing".I hope you feel better tomorrow Nita.I have not worn a dress in 8 years I would say. Gave up on panty hose so long ago. It hurts my thumbs to put them on.Annette> I hope all of you feel better than me. Guest guest
Nita, you could try the Anglican church - at least here in Canada they certainly don't mind a woman in pants. About wearing a dress...I hate to wear dresses. I try to go to church regularly...my desire, but I have found I need a church that doesn't mind women wearing pants because there are days when if I have to put on a dress and panty hose, I'm not gonna get there. So let's just say my wardrobe needs have changed. :0) ---Outgoing mail is certified Virus Free.Checked by AVG anti-virus system (http://www.grisoft.com).Version: 6.0.726 / Virus Database: 481 - Release Date: 22/07/2004
Guest guest
There are few churches, other than some Pentecostal or Oneness churches, that don't allow pants for women. Guest guest
Our church (Roman Catholic) frowns on shorts for either men or women but both wear them and are not turned away. Slacks have been perfectly acceptable for women for over 50 years that I know of personally. God cares about what is in your heart and not what is on your body. God bless. ----- Original Message ----- From: /Don Rheumatoid Arthritis Sent: Thursday, August 26, 2004 9:55 AM Subject: Re: Re: Today I feel like roadkill in a dress... Guest guest
Annette, I wear long dresses that do not require panty hose. I have been thinking about giving away all those short dresses and cleaning the closet. Some I hate giving away but I know what you mean about the thumbs and the panty hose.
