I have been fighting it on and off for almost 2 months and have had one round of antibiotics. I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions on getting rid of this before I cough up a lung. My fits are so bad that I sometimes vomit. Gross! What does your doctor say?S

It was so bad that it was impossible to get a whole sentence out without going into a coughing fit. Its a dry none productive cough. Its as if there is something stuck down there and you can't get it to come up. It was terrible. It got to the point where my lungs, the surrounding muscles and bones hurt. I put up with this for about a month until I saw my rheummy and told him I had developed a terrible cough. He checked my ears, throat and lungs and they all checked out normal. He also did chest x-ray. so this lead him to the conclusion of MTX lung complications. He also told me that this complication can occur at any time during the treatment on MTX. So one has to be very diligent while on MTX. Toni Swell. I forgot to mention to this list that I also have asthma, although I am doing well at controlling it if I stay away from cigarrette smoke.
