Guest guest
Hey Bruce, Missed you too...I'm sooo Happy you Enjoyed your trip Irene ---- Original Message ---- To: Breathe-Support Sent: Thu, 10 Jan 2008 6:30 pm Subject: Missed you all Well, have semi-caught up. Need to go feed the cats for which my ex wife is the custodial parent. She said Mandi was bullying Marli this morning so I need to see what that is about and have a talk with Mandi. First trip on oxygen was a success. I was able to meet my friend there and take her to her first counseling appointment and I know without question she would have backed out had I not gone as she was sick that morning just in anticipation. But she loved her counselor and will definitely follow through and continue. I got to experience the first time of driving with a reservoir in the car and a Helios for portability. I even refilled the Helios in the car, the set the reservoir up in the hotel. I did everything I would have done on the trip before, just not as much. I did take late afternoon naps both days. I even stopped by the Oklahoma Aquarium on my way home today. Learned that an Octupus can open a jar in seconds. Not sure yet how that information is going to come in handy. But I do have trouble with jars sometimes so wonder if I could get and train one for that. Think I figured out that I don't like travel for the sake of travel like some do. But if its to meet someone or to do something thats not available here in the DFW area then I'm ready to go. Not sure where next. Was colder in Tulsa so I know no where north until warmer weather. But maybe Disneyworld, maybe NC to see family, definitely San in May. My lung still hurts so the pneumonia probably not gone. Last day of Levaquin was today but get chest xray tomorrow and will probably get more of it or another antibiotic. I protected myself and nothing really more I could have done to take care of myself at home. So, learned some important things. First, within my limits today or furture, if possible, not to let my disease keep me from those things really important to me. Two, I can travel with oxygen with no problems. Three, what kind of travel I might enjoy and that I wouldn't. Four, that I can't bear days away from you guys so if I go for longer trips will absolutely have to include a means for checking in throughout the trip. Seemed like I was gone forever, even though I checked in briefly Tuesday evening from the Hotel and then back today. I've never had so many friends that I wanted to know how they were doing and what new was going on with them. Meet the new AOL.ca.
